Mining Stakeholders Collaborate on a Path to Responsible Development

A wide array of mining stakeholders have cooperated to help develop Mineral Value Management, a tool aimed at mitigating the misunderstanding and conflict that now fuel mineral-development disputes worldwide, according to a new report from the World Economic Forum produced in collaboration with BCG. A global survey using the tool found that stakeholders hold widely divergent views on mining’s costs and benefits.
